An aurally stunning performance, the recording quality doesn't do the work justice, though at this point, I'm simply grateful.
Ooo-wee this would be a potent addition to CSO if 'twere all cleaned up.
Thank you thank you F and Sleazy for the access to these fantastic archives and permission to share.
Lord willin' and the creek don't rise, this one will be on Colour Sound Oblivion and as per my M.O. if so, I will pull it from this blog.
Until then, though, it is my pleasure and priviledge to share this outstanding set, brief though it may be.

Listen and enjoy. This is not the cleaned up official release of Selvaggina, so I would urge you all to compare sound mastering with the official and note the difference that will be apparent between these Coil Live Archives and when Colour Sound Oblivion is released. (Please, god, let it be soon)

@192

Thanks as always to F for access and Sleazy for permission. Should this be reissued on CSO, I will pull it from this blog.

A fantastic set. I've been saving this one. It's a great inbetween from 2001 to the latter part of 2002, with excellent recording quality, sublime and moving Balance, as well as stellar sounds from Sleazy, Thighpaul, and Ossian, plus...

As with the other sets, should this one see release on Colour Sound Oblivion I'll pull it from this blog.

Thank you manyfold: F for access and Sleazy for permission.

Manic, unsettling, and beautiful beyond words. But then, I am biased:)

Be well.

Coil News 2004

This version of Wraiths And Strays was on the original cdr pressing of Black Antlers , replaced on the rerelease with WAS from Mutek. I prefer Jhon's vocals here, to be perfectly honest.

A powerful set, to say the least. Certainly more impacting with video.

A huge thanks to F for the access to this one and to Sleazy for permission to post.

As usual, should this set be included in Colour Sound Oblivion, I will remove it from this blog.

Enjoy! (I know you will:-)

Not as full-sounding of a recording as some of the others from October 2002, though an excellent document of a great set, and I am, as always, just thankful to even hear it.

Image used without permission from Black Sun Productions (I just like it;)

Sounds used with permission from Sleazy and access to them by F (Thank you both:)

As with other Live Coils herein, should they see inclusion in Colour Sound Oblivion, they will be pulled. Until then...

As always, big thanks to F for the access and Sleazy for permission.

If this set appears on Colour Sound Oblivion (and I would love to have this set mastered proper-like) this post will be removed.

A particularly reflective set.
I kick myself for not putting more effort into seeing these men live. Too few opportunities in the US. Nothing here now but the recordings. As always, a great deal of thanks and appreciation to F for making these available and to Sleazy for permission to post.
Though Important has announced the Ape Of Naples Box with Backwards, nothing further yet about Colour Sound Oblivion. As with the other live sets, should they or this set be part of CSO, they will be removed from this site.

That is all for now.
Be well.
