Hi!
I see nobody has cme up with / found anything of that's lacking here (or are you hiding something:)). It's a pity, as I am looking for the same live shows you are (and it is no coincidence as most of the (audio) shows I have, I have d-loaded from you and Because God... (but not all)). Unfortunately I have not so much time to devote and not so much knowledge where to search for those shows (for except of the option of writting to the P.C. himself and begging).
But last weekend I devoted almost whole day to seach for their last show on Internet. And here's the results (I apologuise if it's nothing new and I have wasted your time):
First of all I found there are some nice photos (but everybody knows that);
Then I found the page (http://www.dublinks.com/index.cfm/loc/16/pt/0/spid/797D1791-DAC5-8789-10C9435E0C15C19C.htm) with advertising information on DEAF 2008. And besides other things this page said: "the fantastic online music channel MUZU will host DEAF TV - featuring both old & new interviews with acts like Decal & Claude Young, Coil LIVE and much more."
I got to http://www.muzu.tv and through search found DEAF channel (http://www.muzu.tv/search?mySearch=Deaf&x=9&y=11) and really - there were a lot of material from previous DEAFs, but unfortunately no Coil, only on page 2 there were video "Decal (Live) DEAF 4 '05 Dublin City Hall supporting Coil". Perhaps it is a mistake and there should have been DEAF 3 '04, or it is a mistake that they were supporting Coil, but something is wrong here. (although I did not whatch the whole video to see if there are any sign of Coil in the end, my computer is too old/weak and showed it like one second of video - two seconds pause, so it was a real pain in the ass).
If there are no Coil among all those videos that don't list Coil (but theorethically could contain "hidden" Coil especially as I got the impression that the tags sometimes don't match the content), then there is a question - where did it go, as it was advertised as one of the main attractions on this i-net tv thing. Have they taken down it? Why? Due to P.C. request, or other reason? Or it newer where there and it is all some hoax, mistake?
Anyway, I think (or rather hope) that they (DEAF) should have this footage on video (or at least audio) and maybe they could explain where did it dissapeared or where people can find it, just to watch/listen (I think they won't just send it to anybody to spread it over the i-net).
I don't know if this info is of any use. I just wanted to share with that, especially if no-one else (like me) knows anything (or so it seems).
Sleepless
very helpful chronological list! Was great to double check i had not missed anything (i hadn't - thanks again for all the great posts; i know i did not comment for each one!) and also a great way to tag the files with pics. i know this is *really* going for it but do you have, or ever seen posted, the video (or even just the audio portion of the video) of the muteelation cd that don poe put out? i'm looking for the rehearsals/warmup in the beginning prior to the show. long story short: i traded my video after my vcr broke for what was described as an original tactile-borderlands cd. it was nothing but a cdr and despite the fact he is still selling on gemm ('420hookah' and another id i don't recall right now) i never got the situation rectified properly and always wanted to get the audio from the vhs tape. long request/comment i know, so thanks for reading, and always posting!
